All About Us

Who we are

The Fairpath Trust is being established as a Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO) in the UK.

  • We exist to improve procedural fairness and accessibility in everyday life.
  • Many people face systems that feel confusing, frightening or stacked against them.
  • We work to change that.
  • Our focus is on clarity, safety and support for anyone navigating complex processes.

Our purpose

Our charitable purpose is to advance fairness, equality and access to justice.

We do this by:

  • Helping people understand and navigate procedures
  • Supporting organisations to design and follow fair processes
  • Creating practical tools that reduce harm, confusion and overwhelm

Everything we build is designed to be clear, accessible and grounded in real experience.

Our Values

Fairness

  • Everyone deserves processes that are clear, consistent and lawful.

Dignity

  • People are not cases or problems. They are individuals with context, needs and rights.

Accessibility

  • Information should be understandable, paced and trauma‑aware.

Integrity

  • We are honest about our limits, our boundaries and any conflicts of interest.

These values guide every decision we make and every system we design.

Safeguarding and boundaries

We take safeguarding seriously. Our boundaries are clear so people know what to expect and can feel safe when working with us.

Our safeguarding approach includes:

  • A commitment to safe, trauma‑aware practice
  • Clear guidance on what we can and cannot provide
  • Support with procedures, not crisis intervention
  • Signposting to emergency or crisis services when someone is at immediate risk
  • Respect for professional boundaries.  We do not replace legal, medical or therapeutic professionals
  • Systems designed to protect both the people we support and the people who work with us

Our structure and governance

The Fairpath Trust is currently being established as a Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO). Our governance approach is built on clarity, accountability and psychological safety.

We are structured around:

  • A Board of Trustees who oversee strategy, governance and legal responsibilities
  • Clear accountability for safeguarding, risk and compliance
  • Transparent decision making processes
  • Accessible governance frameworks that support safe participation
  • A commitment to lawful, ethical and human centred practice
  • Future regulation by the Charity Commission for England and Wales once registration is complete

We will be regulated by the Charity Commission for England and Wales once registration is complete.
