Accessibility Statement

Our commitment to accessibility

The Fairpath Trust is committed to making this website clear, calm and accessible for everyone. Many of the people we support are neurodivergent, disabled, overwhelmed by processes, or using assistive technology.

We want our website to reflect the same values of fairness, dignity and inclusion that guide our work.

How we design for accessibility

We aim to ensure that:

  • Information is written in plain, straightforward language
  • Pages use clear headings and short sections
  • Images include meaningful alt‑text
  • Colours have strong contrast and are easy to read
  • Links and buttons are descriptive and predictable
  • The site works on mobile, tablet and desktop
  • No information is hidden behind complex menus or fast‑moving content

What we have done so far

To make this website easier to use, we have:

  • Added alt‑text to all images
  • Used simple layouts with plenty of white space
  • Avoided flashing, moving or distracting elements
  • Kept paragraphs short and easy to scan
  • Used consistent navigation across all pages
  • Labelled forms clearly and avoided long text requirements
  • Avoided jargon, legal language and unnecessary complexity

If you need adjustments

If you need the information on this website in a different format, we will do our best to help.

You can request:

  • Plain text versions
  • Larger print
  • Audio versions
  • Step by step explanations
  • Support to understand any part of the content

Email us at info@thefairpathtrust.org and tell us what you need.

You do not need to explain your diagnosis or personal circumstances.
